She says this weekend is great for business because when you look good, you feel good.

Speaking of business, the Stellar Awards is big for Nashville because attendees bring in millions of dollars to our local economy.

“About $309 a night and we’re staying three nights, dinners I think will run around a good $100 or so,” said Lawrence about his spending.

Tonje Makosir from Oslo, Norway said, “[I want] to eat some of the southern food that you have here, that we are not so familiar with in Norway. We also want to do some shopping at one of the malls here.”

It’s a big time for everyone involved and local business owners say they welcome it all.

“I can say that I’m happy with the response. They see my product they love my product,” said Brooklyn Tankard.
